Each quarter we host a meeting with other organisations and development actors working in the coastal districts of the Western Region. The aim is to share news of our various projects, and uncover opportunities for us to work together to improve the socio-economic status of the communities where we work.

At this meeting, Coastal Sustainable Landscape Project (CSLP), Centre for Coastal Management-UCC, Daasgift Foundation, and WRCF presented on their acheivements from 2016, and discussed plans and areas of cooperation for the coming year.

Daasgift Foundation and WRCF have also recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on fish processing and market linkages for smoked fish. Daasgift will train its groups of fish processers on catfish smoking to  enable them to buy catfish from the fish farmer associations which WRCF has worked with. In addition, WRCF will also introduce the fish processers to consumers (such as restaurants) who are interested in buying smoked fish in bulk.

All actors are welcome to attend, and we are always looking for new organisations to present about their insights and projects. If you are interested, please email us at info@wrcfghana.org for more information.
