Technical Centre of Excellence launched in the Western Region

The Western Region Coastal Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy’s Oil and Gas Capacity Building Project, Ghana Education Service, and COTVET launched the Technical Centre of Excellence in Takoradi. Welding Instructors in the Western Region build capacity towards international certification

Takoradi, W/R - 15 December 2017. 10 welding instructors from Takoradi Technical Institute (TTI), Kikam Technical Institute (KimTech) and the Regional Maritime University (RMU), graduated from the second phase of a continuous welding programme that will prepare the instructors to qualify for certification by the American Welding Society (AWS), thus becoming globally recognized welding professionals. WRCF collaborates with Western Region Coastal MMDAs towards sustainable community development

On Thursday, 16 March 2017, The Western Region Coastal Foundation (WRCF) held a seminar with key officials from local Metropolitan and Municipal District Assemblies (MMDAs) at Busua in the Ahanta West District, to discuss and support the preparation of the districts’ medium to long term development plans.
